It’s even called a “walking simulator” by many detractors. But the drop-dead gorgeous world, amazing writing, and suspenseful plot is something to die for. If anything, it’s a real life “journey simulator.” Much like the last game on the list, this game isn’t easy to explain. Check out the trailers for it on Steam and judge it for yourself. But it’s in our opinion that this game’s redeem code is totally worth the price tag and the time.

I daresay that Invisible Inc. may be the Dark Souls of the strategy genre. Much like Door Kickers, you’re in command of a team but, this time, made up of secret agents that attempt to gather resources, intelligence, and counter an enemy that drove them out of their headquarters. This is an absolute steal and you simply must get it. If you aren’t one for strategy games, I assure you, this game will change your mind about them.

Redeem Codes: Battleborn Vs. Overwatch

Forget Team Fortress 2, Dota, and LoL; the real competitors are Battleborn and Overwatch as they’re both new IPs vying for a good spot in an increasingly competitive esports scene. Battleborn is developed by Gearbox studios, the same developers of the Borderlands series, while Overwatch is a new and original IP from Blizzard of World of Warcraft fame.

They’re both shooters, yes, and they’re both intrinsically similar, but at the same time, play completely differently.

Redeem Codes: The Key Differences

 

  • Overwatch

Let’s start with Overwatch. Why start here? A bias? Maybe. But it also has something to do with how dead simple the game is. I don’t mean that as an insult or a compliment; but merely a statement of fact. It’s a team-based shooter that takes its roots from traditional 90’s shooters like Doom, Half Life, Quake, and, of course, Team Fortress the mod. It naturally takes inspiration from Team Fortress 2 and Blizzard freely admits that.

In terms of gameplay, it’s what you’d expect a shooter to be, but the real clincher in Overwatch is its solidly colorful cast of characters that are simply too attractive to ignore. With each hero having their own skills and abilities, each hero plays uniquely and fit roles that have to synergize well with a team. And, you know, that’s pretty much it about Overwatch.

It has some great lore, fantastic characters, and superbly fun gameplay that has been inspired from the tried-and-tested classics of the 90’s. There’s really no way to go wrong there.

  • Battleborn

Battleborn, on the other hand, can be very complicated. Calling itself a “hero shooter,” Battleborn sports also a ton of unique heroes that follow in the same vein as Overwatch, but has more skills, much more akin to a Moba than a team based shooter. If anything, the game is very similar to Smite, a 3rd person Moba with a similar concept. Battleborn also has single player and non-competitive cooperative modes coupled with an account and hero progression. Compared to Overwatch, Battleborn certainly has more to do than competitive matches.

However, the only problem with the game is that it tries to be a lot of things at the same time. It’s trying to be an MMO, an FPS Moba, a team based shooter, and a generic shooter campaign all at once. It then becomes hard to pinpoint what it actually wants to focus on, making it harder to be taken seriously as an esport unlike Overwatch’s committed single mindedness.

Redeem Codes: What’s better?

Well, you decide! They both are good at what they do and will certainly attract specific crowds. If you like the Moba format, best to go Battleborn redeem codes, but the iffy jack of all trades concept it has going may make it hard to have an Esports future. Choose Overwatch redeem codes if you want something more stable competitively, but it does lack other content apart from the competitive aspect. Both games are great, to be honest, and it will only matter what you find more enjoyable.

With Overwatch coming so close to release at the time of this writing, it’s hard to ignore how incredibly popular the IP is considering that it hasn’t even been released yet. Then again, it shouldn’t be surprising considering that the company behind Overwatch is Blizzard Entertainment, the same company that created the Warcraft series, a niche strategy game, and transformed said game into a decade-long MMORPG sensation. They were also behind the popularity that is Diablo, Starcraft, and Hearthstone, with the less successful Heroes of the Storm in tow.

Some may say that the Overwatch hype is nothing more than the standard, run-of-the-mill hype, but the beta statistics will show that it’s a bit more than that, with thousands of Beta Overwatch redeem codes already used. But let’s not get bogged down in number crunching and whatever since the game hasn’t even been released yet. Instead, let’s look at the massive, yet still budding, community of Overwatch. A simple google search will immediately net you thousands upon thousands of fan artwork, cosplay, fan coverage, and all sorts of other homages to a game that is yet to be released. That is, immediately, power to the game that no other has been able to manage. The Overwatch IP’s state right now is as if it has existed for years upon years with a large following of loyal fans that have grown up with it. It’s like freaking Star Wars. We’ve got to hand it to Blizzard as they know how to market a game. Everywhere I look, adverts about Overwatch are everywhere, but not the kind of advertising that gets super annoying. They put out quality trailers and animated shorts that get word of mouth going around and the fans themselves share it across social media. This is a phenomenon that no game has ever seen before and I suspect the momentum of this hype will keep on going. Take me, for example; I simply ABHOR FPS and MOBAs in general, but the lore of Overwatch, through its many interesting characters, animations, and hullaballoo about it have piqued my interest enough to pick up the game. Compound the fact that Blizzard claims Overwatch to be both noob-friendly and challenging for shooter vets makes it all the more appealing. This hype, as far as anyone can tell, is as real as real can be and the game will be a real contender in the Esports scene. When the game finally drops, I can only look forward to how it will grow and evolve. Our watch begins now.

Redeem Code Corner: DCUO End Game

While DCUO doesn’t have much in the way of a nice early or mid game, comprised only of quest hubs filled to the brim with fetch and kill quests, with a neat little “episodic” type story for each, it’s end game is a stark difference. DCUO truly begins when you reach the proper level cap of 30. This is because gear progression is the biggest and best experience DCUO has to offer aside from the robust end game episodes of PvE and the blood-pumping action of PvP.

Redeem Code: DCUO Gear Progression

Farming Marks of Victory will be your primary purpose of existence because these commendations enable you to purchase gear of higher combat rating. In turn, having a higher combat rating will enable you to have the ability to purchase Iconic sets with even higher combat rating from certain NPCs.

Surely, you could always just opt to try and get lucky with gear drops from solo challenges, duos, or 4 man dungeons. However, this can be difficult due to fickle RNG, rolling against other players in 4 mans, or just being downright unlucky with your personal loot drops. It’s entirely possible that, for your entire itinerary for the day, you actually get nothing useful to upgrade your Combat Rating. This has happened to me and has happened to at least 90% of DCUOs avid playerbase.

With the changes to purchasing gear costs, the price for these progression gear have all but increased when compared to DCUO’s incarnation back in its earlier years. A single piece, especially early-mid game gear of CR 70, can cost a huge amount of marks just to purchase a single piece. With a cap of 100 Marks of Victory, you can’t exactly earn a shit-ton in a period of time and then suddenly splurge right there and then.

Early in the end game, you won’t be able to find much to do for dailies for these marks due to the lack of stuff you can do. With everything gated behind a Combat Rating wall, the hardcore player will inevitably finish everything they can do in a day and still may not even be close to moving their CR due to bad drops.

Consolation to this is that, as you get stronger, you also unlock the right to play newer episodes in the DCUO story that is lifted from great and fantastic storylines like Blackest Night. It’s a great incentive for the DC fandom to keep on their progression, but may not be so much for regular MMO players.

Redeem Code: Tons of DCUO Tiers

Then again, with a crap ton of raids averaging 4 per tier (with 7 tiers), the progression raider fanatics out there will certainly have a lot to do. Remember that there isn’t a “catch up” mechanic in DCUO like there is in SWTOR or WoW, and you have to play ALL the tiers just to get to the current tier of 7. If anything, this should appeal to the hardcore WoW players that don’t like their hands being held.

Take what you will of this info, but it’s in my opinion that, while it’s not the greatest end game, DCUO knows how to keep their playerbase busy.

Using Kinect for an Xbox Redeem Code

Using Kinect for an Xbox Redeem Code

Xbox Kinect can be use to read your Xbox redeem codes for easy access. Not only can they scan QR codes from your regular redeem codes, but they can also redeem gift cards, give aways, and pretty much anything with a QR code related to your Xbox One.

To begin scanning the QR code, all you have to do is use the voice command, “Xbox, use a code.” This will then cause your Kinect to activate and start scanning the room it is located in. Simply hold up your Xbox redeem code or redeem gift card up in front of the Kinect camera and it will automatically read and, well, redeem, your Xbox redeem code. Whatever it is you have purchased the code for, your Xbox One will download it immediately if connected to the internet. Naturally, make sure that your net connection is not interrupted. However, even if it is, you can simply start it up again with no worries. Do note that the marvelous technology of the Kinect enables it to see QR codes up to 6 feet from its camera.

Use a QR Code Generator

Now, if you happen to have an Xbox redeem code that is in the form of a 25 digit string to manually input and you don’t like that method, you could always visit legitimate and trustworthy sites that will transform your 25 digit code into a QR code for some easy Kinect scanning. No Such Thing as A Free Meal (Redeem Code)

Free PSN redeem codes or any other kind of free redeem code simply does not exist. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about: “PSN Redeem Code generator” or “XBox Live Codes for free!” Yeah, those kinds of things.

All of these are nothing but scams. Most of the time, these kinds of sites will trick you into giving up your personal information or automatically subscribing you to some useless SMS scam. You’ll then suddenly find out that you either have a lot of bills to pay or your credit card’s been hijacked. Don’t be fooled by these.

The Redeem Code Rip Off

To give an example, the image below shows what a typical scam site of a “redeem code generator” looks like:

It’s natural that we’d first be suspicious of the site, so we tend to look at them closer. You’ll most often find “certified” marks on their page that are clearly visible and/or claims that they’ve been voted or rated highly by some internet website that you also don’t know. There are even ratings for the particular item you’re looking for even though there’s no real way to rate it for yourself.

All of these are just images posted on the site to make it look legit and lull you into a false sense of security. When you do decide to “generate” a code, they’ll most likely require you to share the page with a number of folks on your social media. You’ll then just be spreading the plague.

After a bunch of other steps, they’ll make you take stupid surveys before finally asking for your personal information. The most popular one they ask you for is your mobile phone number, which they will then use to subscribe to expensive apps and other subscriptions that will be of no use to you. It goes without saying that you should NEVER give your CC information to any of these sites. If you do that, then GG, you’re screwed. Cancel your credit card immediately and inform the bank of what happened. They’ll get things sorted out, but it’ll cause a huge hassle for you.

Remember, there are no such things as free redeem codes; there are only cheap ones. If you do ever need anything from PSN redeem codes to Xbox Live subs that are legit, fast, and, most importantly, safe, head off to trusted marketplaces rather than succumbing to these scams.

 

How To Use an Xbox Redeem Code – The Debacle!

The Xbox Redeem Code Debacle!

The interface of the Xbox One, while awesome to look at, won’t be winning any awards soon. The old interface, the initial one at launch, was an awful mess to be completely honest. You could hardly find where to redeem your codes, much less other things not directly about gaming. But the new interface hasn’t done it any favors either.

To be honest, we’re only doing this to help you guys. Back during the era of the Xbox 360 era, it was way easy! Hit the guide button, you go over there, and just hit the “Redeem Code” option. That was it! But, no, the Xbox One has to be a fickle bastard, a confusing one at that, and cause a lot of pain for folks that just wanted to use their Xbox Redeem Code.

For half an hour, I was just lolling around my Xbox One interface with literally no idea what I was doing or looking for. Finally, however, I found exactly how to do it. Now, why the tutorial, you ask? Well, this is to help the folks out there that don’t want to waste their time trying to figure out the pointlessness for themselves. This way, you save a lot of time and frustration.

So, here it is. To use your Xbox redeem code go to the top of your Xbox One dashboard and put your cursor highlight on the “Store” tab. This will then collapse into smaller tabs and choose the “Games” tab. Scroll down to “Browse All Games” that is located right beside the “Search All Games” bar.

Once on the Browse All Games interface, head back up to the top of the page and slide to the right and click on the “Use a Code” tab. Once there, you can choose to either use a QR code to scan on your kinect or use the 25 digit Xbox redeem code you have. It’s that simple although it can be initially frustrating at first.

Certainly, Microsoft has designed the Xbox with a very fancy interface that is sleek, smooth, pleasing to the eyes, and minimalist. It’s an awesome aesthetic design, but has horrid ergonomic properties. It takes a bunch of tries and a whole lot of patience for people just to use their redeem codes or redeem gift cards because of an oddly illogically structured user interface.
