When you play akiba’s trip, you will definitely say “Japanese role playing games are weird.” Being weird is what makes JRPG fun to play, you get to experience awesome stuff. Although, in fact, good art and voice acting are the selling point of JRPG, being weird is just a small factor.
In this article, we are going to review akiba’s trip: undead & undressed.
Akiba’s Trip Review for Steam Account Owners: Overview
Akiba’s trip is a visual novel, role playing game, and a fighting game. Although, the mix of multiple genres is not the reason why it is weird, it is because of defeating people through stripping their clothes off. Weird stuff has something to do with the plot; it is weird for a reason. It is logically weird.
In Akihabara, the town of otaku, an organization is kidnapping people and turning them into “synthister.” These “synthister” people are like vampire. They are weak against sunlight, their clothes protect them from it, and without clothes they will die/dissolve.
The game has vast features that revolve around the protagonist’s smart phone, if you find yourself troubled, just check your smart phone, and everything will be fine. In other words, smart phone is your main menu, and quest manager.
The combat game play is like a side scrolling game. It has three basic attacks: high attack, mid attack, and low attack. An enemy has three types of clothes: headgear, shirt, and pants, once you have stripped these three clothes, you win.
Akiba’s Trip Review for Steam Account Owners: Pros
The game has amazing voice actors, and lovely voices that match to the character designs (Japanese voice.) Japanese voice acting is superb. They have a school for voice acting.
It has an amazing art works. Even if you dislike the game play, the art work will still hook you to finish the game.
Akiba’s Trip Review for Steam Account Owners: Cons
It is a weird game.
Surprisingly, it has a high pc requirement for just a crappy 3d.
The combat system is very simple, yet complex. It is simple, because it is easy to deal damage against opponents. It is complex, there are certain moves that are difficult to execute, and you won’t even know if you did it right.
This game is available for steam account owners, and it has a specific steam account value.
